Getting Started with Your Medical Treatment in Israel
Here is your plan of action for getting your medical treatment in Israel with UNIMED:
- Contact a member of the UNIMED team: Use the application on our website or call +972-74-7025-280. Be sure to use the appropriate prefix for dialing an international phone number from your country (i.e. in the United States, you would dial 011-972-74-7025-280). You can also contact us with any questions you have by using the Contact Us page on this website where you’ll find our e-mail address and fax number.
- If you used the application form on our website or sent us an e-mail, we will be in touch with you shortly to help you plan your medical treatment in Israel.
- Our specialists will ask you some questions to help them diagnose your particular symptoms so that an initial plan of treatment can be worked up.
- We will request that you have a copy of all your medical records sent over to UNIMED, either electronically or via fax. Don’t worry about getting them translated. We can take care of that on our end. Note that if you need to fax or mail hard copies of your medical history that it may take a bit longer for us to evaluate your case and help you plan your medical treatment in Israel.
- We will send you a preliminary plan of treatment, including a list of potential specialists that we may employ and a plan of action for your medical tourism visit to Israel. Depending on the specifics of your case, you may be asked to choose from several different treatment options.
- Changes will be made as needed when you discuss your treatment plan with our specialists. No plan of treatment will be forced on you. You have complete control to decide what you want done.
- Our specialized travel agents can optionally help you to plan your visit to Israel, including booking flights and hotels for you and your family as well as arranging for airport pickup and a personalized escort who will be with you throughout your stay in Israel as needed. Note that you may also arrange your own travel plans and simply let us arrange for your israel medical treatment.
- Upon arrival, you will be provided with additional information related to your medical tourism plan, including directions to the israel hospital or clinic as needed.
- Payment must be made in advance of any medical treatment offered by UNIMED doctors and clinics. We accept cash, credit cards (Visa/MC), ACH bank transfer or travelers checks. Sorry, no personal checks.
- If you arrange your own travel, you will need to contact us to let us know when you will be arriving in Israel, including flight numbers and arrival times. We can optionally arrange for you to be met at the airport by our representative, or we can meet you directly at the hotel or clinic as needed.
Arrive for treatment and experience the world class medical treatment in Israel that all of our medical tourists receive.
